BALMAIN
Balmain is a French Luxury fashion house that deals in haute couture, ready-to-wear , perfumes and jewellery.
CARA DELEVINGNE
Cara Delevingne is an english actor, model and singer.
COLLABORATION OF THE THREE
Both companies found common ground, producing a unisex capsule collaboration inspired by the precision of BOXING.
Taking from both Balmain’s luxury heritage and PUMA’s athletic knowledge the designs formed are a hybrid of both the brands.
On this, Cara Delevingne said; “PUMA has always represented team work and empowerment so the idea of doing a partnership with Olivier seemed very fitting,”
Oliver rousting added “Balmain has a similar brave fierceness to their brand as PUMA does and it really excited me to think of what we could all do together.” continuing ; “Cara is a good friend, and this is the fruit of a shared vision. Everyone involved —- PUMA, Balmain, Cara and me -— was determined to create something timeless. Above all, we knew that our message needed to be a strong one, reflecting exactly who we are and what we believe in.”
THE COLLECTION
The collection features silk boxing shorts, bomber jackets, distressed T-shirts, hoodies and leggings and has a focus around boxing and athletics.
The 35 piece collection will be available from November 21 on the online stores of Puma and Balmain.
The collaboration is a platform to promote diversity and inclusivity.
