Pepsi marks its debut in the fashion industry by launching its first ever collection on October 9 at FDCI’s Lotus INDIA FASHION WEEK collaborating with the ‘ready to wear’ fashion brand HUEMN.
The collection focuses on youth and their expressive behavior because Pepsi has always been reverberating the voice of the youth. Using fashion as the tool for communication and self expression, the collection has its own SWAG, just like the classic beverage. The collection created by designer duo Pranav Mishra and Shyma Shetty, focuses on SWAG; the signature philosophy of Pepsi and the thought that INTRESTING IS THE NEW COOL.
With Disha Patani as the show stopper the launch was a great success. “The most attractive part about the collection is that all the denim fabrics are and will be made with recycled ocean plastic.” Through the collection the company’s ‘Winning the purpose, vision aiming at building a world where plastic does not become just a waste.
